The People’s Health Movement South Africa, Tygerberg Students Council and Junior Doctors Associ
ation of South Africa will be hosting a public meeting on the Occupational Rights and Safety of Junior Doctors.
The event will feature guest speakers, Dr Yumna Moosa and Dr Michael van Niekerk, who will be speaking on the challenges regarding doctors’ rights and safety with particular focus on the plight of junior doctors.
They will also highlight the breakthroughs that have been made regarding working hours.
This will be followed by a panel discussion, facilitated by Prof Leslie London of the People’s Health Movement South Africa, which will be opened to the floor to discuss Rights and Occupational Safety for students and junior doctors.
